Shipping Deadlines

Shipping Deadlines for Valentine’s Day delivery are Feb. 8 for US mainland, Feb. 12 for all of Hawaii. Valentine offerings containing flowers are available for local delivery only, such as the pictured Big Island Sweets No Ka Oi with Tropical Bouquet. We’re happy in-person community events are happening again post-pandemic! Some upcoming favorites:

30th Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival: Celebrating the Japanese tradition of hanami, or cherry blossom viewing, this festival offers multi-cultural performing arts, plus hands-on demonstrations of bonsai, bon dance, mochi pounding and tea ceremony, plus local craft vendors, a quilt show and chef demonstrations with sampling. Time is 9am-3pm February 4 at multiple Waimea locations. Follow the festival on facebook.
Kokua Kailua Village Stroll: Head to seaside Ali‘i Drive in Historic Kailua Village when it turns into a pedestrian street fair 1-6pm the third Sunday of every month (some exceptions). Browse among local crafters and food booths

FINDING A TREASURE

While on vacation in Hawaii, my wife and I stumbled upon Big Island To Go. We were very glad we did. The owners were cheerful and friendly and had great suggestions and gift ideas.
