Author Wendy Kunimitsu and Illustrater Kat Uno created Peekaboo the Poi Dog. Both were born and raised in the Hawaii islands and live and enjoy life on Oahu!
One rainy day, Peekaboo the poi dog is feeling restless and is looking for a new game to play with. She asks her mother for guidance, leading her on an unexpected imaginary journey ascross the state of Hawaii.
Along the way, Peekaboo encounters wonderful people and creatures while visiting many well-known Hawaiian landmarks: From the Pali lookout to the snowy mountain top of Mauna Kea, Big Island's highest volcano, her adventures are filled with excitement, discoveries and enjoyment.

FINDING A TREASURE
While on vacation in Hawaii, my wife and I stumbled upon Big Island To Go. We were very glad we did. The owners were cheerful and friendly and had great suggestions and gift ideas.
